Pressure Grouting

Pressure Grouting

Pressure grouting is the "art" of pumping cementitious or chemical material into the soil for stabilization of new foundations or lifting an existing building where settling has occurred. The photo below shows a technician in the process of installing a grouting needle into the soil. Under the right conditions, pressure grouting can actually lift a structure back to its original elevation. Pressure grouting is also often used for the stabilization of pool tanks either before construction or after the tank has been installed.
